web cams are just welded on stock cams(nothing wrong with that) so you have to send them your stock cam. hotcams are not and you can keep the stock one as far as touqe gain you would have to compare the grind specs on each and choose what you want

I have the hotcam. The power band is basicly moved down.Low and midrange power is what you gain out of it.Better throttle response but if you your looking for top speed power then this cam is not for you. This cam is more for us mudders that run big aggressive tires and don t care for top speed.

You need 2 gaskets only. The head gasket and the rocker housing gasket. The cam comes with some instructions. If you have any question just ask us and we will help you out.

Theres a how-to with pictures in the wiki.

I have a hotcam, I don't have a lot of seat time yet, but bottom end is slightly better and mid range is a lot better. Top end, don't know don't care.

Don t do any porting. Not worth it on the rincon that lacks bottom end.Just put the cam in.You need the head gasket and the one above it.The cam carrier bolts to the cylinder housing. Not a big job.Not hard at all either if you have some mechanical skills.Key is to make sure your decompressor is on there correctly and at TDC your cam gear is in time correctly also_Other then that there is nothing to it.Pay attention to the intructions when timing the cam gear.

some advice on the the cam install

pay close attention, foot pounds and inch pounds are used often, its easy to get mixed up

if you go with the hotcam you will have to disassemble your stock cam and gear to remove the decompresser and cam towers... take a few photos and post them (if you dont mind) of how the stock decompresser is installed, and wrap it with some electrical tape to hold in place so you can re and re it without making any mistakes... it happens all the time....be carefull that you dont "erase the A" on the cam tower... this will make sense to you when your in there... but there is an A molded into the casting on top of the cam tower, you will be using it to setup the valve timing on install... its easy to mount the cam tower in a vice and beat the stock cam out with a hammer, and chew the A off in the process

I recomend a 1 ton benchtop press to remove the gear from the stock cam

make sure you have some good cleaning solvent handy like bra-clean or somthing that will clean any oil film off the stock gear and your new cam before you " glue" the gear on ....

you could bring it to me and I will do the work for you for a bottle of whiskey, and some laughs around the fire... its a 4 hours job from start to finish...
